The human heart and its function

The human heart and its function

When we put our hands on your heart there is a thumping sound in your heart. Why does this happen. And let us know the reason for this

The human heart and its function
The human heart and its function

Do you know how many times your heart beats in a minute? Your heart beats 72 times a minute and about a million times throughout the day and about 2.5 billion times in a lifetime.

➡ To date the slowest heartbeat of man has been recorded at 27 beats per minute and the fastest beats at 780 beats per minute.

➡ When your heart is separated from the body, it will keep beating as long as it gets enough oxygen as it has its own electrical impulse.

➡ Women start having a baby's heartbeat within four weeks of pregnancy.

➡ Your heart pumps 4.7 liters of blood per minute.

➡ Women have 8 beats per minute more than men.

Let's describe the heart and function

The internal structure of the heart can be seen in its vertical section

▪️ Internally the human heart is divided into four segments

▪️ Both the atria and the ventricles are separated from the inner patal

➡ There are many valves present in the heart cavity. Such valves regulate the direction of blood flow.

▪️ AV valve separates atria and ventricles. Right AV valve is found between right atrium and right ventricle. They see three patals. Hence it is called triad valve. Similarly the left AV valve is found in the left atrium and the left ventricle. It is also called Dwidal Valve as only two Patals are present in it.

▪️ The crescent-shaped heart is at the beginning of the artery protruding from the heart. It has a pulmonary crescent-shaped valve and a crescent-shaped valve.

Agramahasira and Pusvamahasira open in the right atrium. And the pulmonary vein opens into the left atrium  And the pulmonary vein opens into the left atrium.

A myocardial infarction called a sinus-anterior tumor (SA tumor) opens at the corners of the closed atrium. And another such PC is found in the left corner of the cochlea. Karnak and Kshepak are found very close to Patel.

▪️ The heart works like a pump

▪️ It never ceases to exist from your birth to the end of your life.

That process beats 72 times a minute.

Electrocardiogram (ECG) is used to measure heart rate.
